The Chartered Institute of Fundraising recognises Open’s commitment with ‘Best Supplier to the Sector 2024’ award

In 2007, James Briggs and I sat around a small kitchen table to have a conversation about how we’d like to change the world. Since then, Open has worked with hundreds of charities across the UK and around the world to change things for the better.

Over the years we’ve raised tens of millions of pounds for charities by creating strategies that work and creative that delivers. We’ve improved checkouts to make giving easier, developed new products to grow giving, and brought talented people together that share the vision of a fairer, more compassionate, and sustainable world.

And it’s not just our fundraising that does good.

As a company that spends a lot of our time and energy inspiring people to take action, we think it’s only right that we take action too.

When emergencies strike we work for free, and over the years we’ve produced hundreds of ads and appeals for our INGO clients and the Disasters Emergency Committee.

We’re also keen supporters of the sector’s development, sharing what we do and how do it through free resources on our Open Channel.

But it’s not just our time and insights we share. We also give our money.

Every year Open holds a ‘Giveathon’, giving money to every team member to donate to a cause, or causes, that are special to them. Over the years, our team has given away more than £500,000 in cash to an incredibly diverse group of organisations.

And in September 2022, we wanted to make sure we were on the right track to being an organisation that uses business as a force for good and were successful in our mission of becoming a B Corp; without making any changes to how we work to get it.

Thanks to our approach, and our incredible team and clients, Open was awarded the Chartered Institute of Fundraising’s ‘Best Supplier to the Sector 2024’ award for a second time.

We are grateful to work with our wonderful team, clients, friends, and fundraisers who have made this possible – thank you for the recognition.
