It doesn’t seem that long since we built Mobilise to facilitate regular text donations. But we’ve come a long way in that short time.
We learnt quickly that if you remove friction and add control to the process of giving then you drive response. Lots. In fact, over £25 million has been donated by text to date.
But what we’ve always wanted is to give donors that same frictionless, controllable experience when donating by card, PayPal or even direct debit.
And guess what? Now we can. Anywhere in the world.
Over the past few months, we’ve been testing in the UK, Canada and New Zealand – and next month we launch in America and across Europe. We’ve been running campaigns on TV, on the street, in Facebook, email and phone.
Last Friday was a big moment as Mobilise handled all the telephone payments for Comic Relief. Stress tested at 200 donations a second.
And this Saturday, as people march in London, Mobilise will be there to harness that engagement – offering them the opportunity to join the campaign, donate, and buy merchandise – all in a matter of seconds.
So Mobilise has evolved into a global Donations Management Platform – giving donors control of their donations across multiple payment gateways and channels. Early results have been amazing, telling us that if you give donors that frictionless, controllable experience when donating by card, PayPal or even direct debit you’ll raise more money.
